This is a completely volunteer-based website.
The Anchorage School District will continue to feed students during the extended school break. ASD students do need their own transportation to the distribution centers and must be present to pick up food OR the parent must provide student ID cards. At the site a district employee will greet them at the entrance and will hand them a to-go breakfast and lunch. ASD Food Distribution Centers open M-F, 10am-2pm

The Children’s Lunchbox will be providing food boxes from March 16-20th at 2 distribution sites 12-1 pm at Spenard Rec Center and 2-3 pm at Fairview Rec Center. The boxes will contain a breakfast, lunch or dinner, with enough food to feed a family of 4. These will be provided as grab-and-go boxes.
Free Slice of pizza for for any student that is on the free or reduced price school lunch program.
Available at all Anchorage Pizza Hut locations (excluding Target locations).
Find fruits and vegetables, dairy products, and other fresh food at no cost at Food Bank of Alaska’s Mobile Food Pantry. There are 20 mobile pantries each month in eight different Anchorage neighborhoods.
